"Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6 Well it is 5:30 am and the first day of school! We all went to bed early last night to prepare for a new day... I hope we have a good school year, my Anna is growing into a beautiful young lady! She is 13 years old now, yes we are into our teen years and the peer pressure these children have to go through is unbelievable! she is excited about school, but scared too! We have all the school supplies brought. The teachers have been met. The paper work has been done. (Parents know what I am talking about!) Now come the time of prayer! The only way for our teenagers to make it through the pressure this day and time is the prayers of parents! Parents start today, praying for your children while they go through the everyday stuff at school, we never had to go through. Yes, we had stuff, but it was nothing compared to what our children go through this day and time. Anna starts her morning with a teen devotional and I start my day with prayer for her. When we go to bed at night Anna does another nightly devotional and before I close my eyes Dunc and I prayer for her and Noah. I challenge you to do the same for your children! God bless you and your children <><
